About The Position
University Dental Associates (UDA) is a Doctor Owned, Doctor Led practice focused on providing patients with high-level care. UDA values respect and team engagement, striving to offer the best to its patients. This role is for a stellar hygienist who is passionate, driven, and excited to help shape Oral Health Care delivery. The hygienist will support the office's success and patients' oral health by performing licensed hygiene procedures, educating patients on treatment and care, and building strong relationships. The role also involves maintaining accurate patient records and partnering with the administrative team on scheduling appointments. This is a full-time opening.
Requirements
- Current state license to practice dental hygiene
- Confidence and ability to educate patients on their unique oral health needs and desires
- Strong communication skills
- Desire to embrace preventative centered care
- Ability to perform all hygiene clinical procedures, including adult and child prophylaxis, non-surgical periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control trainings as required by law
Responsibilities
