About The Position

The team at Playfair Dental Centre located in Orangeville, ON are looking for a passionate, hard-working Hygiene Coordinator on a full-time basis. The ideal Hygiene Coordinator for our team will be highly motivated to coordinate and manage the hygiene schedule. The ideal Candidate will serve as a vital link between patients and Clinical staff, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk and supporting the hygiene department. The role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with dental software and a strong understanding of dental terminology. The dental hygiene coordinator will manage patient scheduling, maintaining electronic medical records, handle patient inquiries, assist with verifying insurance, processing patients and managing appointment reminders as well as post visit instructions. 123Dentist is Canada’s largest majority dentist-owned network of dental practices, with almost 500 locations nationwide and nearly 8,000 employees. Requirements

• Experience as a Hygiene Coordinator is required
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Customer service mindset

Nice To Haves

• Experience with dental practice management software such as Abeldent/Tracker is considered an asset
