Wave Dental Specialists – Atlanta is seeking a motivated and compassionate Full-Time Hygiene Assistant to join our growing specialty practice in the heart of Buckhead. As a Hygiene Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our hygienists and doctors while helping provide an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

Current Georgia Dental Assistant certification/license required
Minimum 1 year of dental assisting or hygiene assisting experience
Experience with Open Dental software preferred
Experience with iTero digital scanners preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork and patient care
Dental Assistant certificate
High school graduate or GED Equivalent.
Team Player.
Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Open Dental software preferred
Experience with iTero digital scanners preferred

Responsibilities

Assist hygienists with patient care and clinical procedures
Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms between patients
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
Take dental radiographs
Update patient records and chart information accurately
Assist with iTero scans and digital imaging as needed
Ensure operatories are fully stocked and organized
Provide outstanding customer service while helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit
Support the clinical team with additional duties as assigned
