About The Position
We are seeking a Hygiene Assistant to join our dental team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the dental practice are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained according to established protocols. You will also handle waste disposal, replenish supplies, and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Collaboration with team members is key to maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- Dental Radiography Certification in the state of Michigan.
- At least 1 year of Hygiene Assistant experience (New grads welcome, training provided).
- CPR Certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Dental software experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all areas are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules.
- Handle and dispose of waste safely and efficiently.
- Replenish hygiene supplies as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve high standards of cleanliness.
