About The Position

The Hydro Tester is an individual selected to perform hydraulic pressure testing of tanks and vessels where applicable within our company.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a relevant field.
• Communications skills in English/Spanish (if applicable).
• Experience in a variety of hydraulic testing procedures.
• Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use PPE.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Familiar with Global Vessel and Tank software programs

Responsibilities

• Fit up vessel connections to perform proper hydro test
• Ensure, review and confirm all hydro test pressures with QC and Production Manager for proper testing
• Test piping and or vessels to proper code test pressure
• Chart required equipment to customer spec
• Record, document and file all hydro test under ASME code standards
• Coordinate timing of AI with QC Manager
• Maintain tools and equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Manage and maintain work area to ensure safe working conditions with all pressure components
