Hydro Blast Crew Leader
About The Position
The Hydro Blast Crew Leader will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of the whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, vacuum truck operations, waste disposal, site remediation, and high-pressure water blasting. The Hydro Blast Crew leader will use leadership skills to ensure that the crew is following company and customer standards, policies, and best practices. This is a full-time position with an opportunity for overtime. Applicants may be required to travel up to 30% of the time.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Experience in the hydro blasting and vacuuming field.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Pass a Hair Follicle Drug Screen.
- Pass all Required Background Screens.
Responsibilities
- Lead crews, offer feedback, assist crews and train new employees in the completion of the job duties in accordance with all company and client policy.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning.
- Must have general knowledge of all Hydro Blast Pumps. (10K, 20K, 40K).
- Must have general knowledge of Liquid Vacuum and Air Machine Trucks.
- Load out a hydro blast and vacuum truck jobs, i.e. be familiar with all pieces of equipment necessary to safely and effectively complete the required job scope.
- Inspect all aspects of work from the Jobsite to equipment before commencing work.
- Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and all applicable safety paperwork.
