The successful candidate will: • Independently prepare Storm Water Management Reports and culvert/bridge hydrologic & hydraulic studies • Independently prepare and submit stormwater permit documentation through various agencies • Participate in project development meetings • Serve as the lead drainage engineer on projects as directed by senior staff. • Provide professional design services for transportation improvement projects, including storm drains, culverts, storm water management, green stormwater, ESD/LID facilities, and erosion and sediment control. • Coordinate design development and assist with technical direction of junior staff • Achieve quality deliverables within the established schedule and budget • Independently prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports • Establishing working relationships and interface with client technical staff and project managers • Mentoring supporting water resource design staff The candidate will be designing independently and mentoring junior staff members for successful project outcomes.
