Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Hydraulic & Machining Sales Specialist. This position is base plus commission with unlimited earning potential. Are you ready to embark on an opportunity that blends your sales experience with strategic thinking? We're seeking a Sales Representative to revolutionize our revenue landscape across PA. As the driving force behind our market share expansion, you'll be well positioned to drive growth through existing customer relationships and carving new paths through new account acquisition. Position Summary: Represent HYMAC Hydraulic, Machining & Chroming business unit (cbhymac.com) from a sales capacity in the PA area to promote and sell hydraulic Parts Products, Services, and Hydraulic & Machining Solutions as directed and managed by the Product Support Sales Manager. Requirements

  • Must have a valid Drivers License & Clean Driving Record CDL preferred but not necessary.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Technical English language skills required.
  • Ability to write routine reports and effective correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, Internet software, order processing systems, and contact management systems.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • The HMSS will proactively manage an account base in the 9 counties of his/her assigned territory.
  • Apply good time and territory management practices while implementing a coverage plan.
  • Pick up and deliver Hydraulic components along with machining components.
  • Follow up on sales leads and work closely with both Product Support Sales Reps (PSSR) and Service departments.
  • Prospect for new customers and new hydraulic & machining revenue sources
  • Build collaborative relationships and ensure business integrity is maintained
  • Pass on parts/service/sales leads to all sales reps. within a specified territory
  • Employ a "consultative selling" approach to identify and manage customer expectations
  • Keep customers informed of component rebuilds and service work status
  • Counsel customers regarding equipment management as it relates to their machine hydraulic solutions to affect lowest owning and operating costs.
  • Negotiate win-win outcomes to customer issues
  • Use Dealer Business System information (DBS or ERP) for pricing, work order process tracking within a territory
  • Provide input/information into planning and budgeting process
  • Support new product introduction (NPI)
  • Create and present quotes using the repair facility's input
  • Report all activity & update customer information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
