About The Position

The Hydraulic Mechanic is responsible for assembling the Stripe Hog ® Waterblasting System by following instructions and production orders. This role involves reading diagrams to understand assembly procedures, measuring and marking parts for precise fitting, and adjusting or repairing components to ensure proper operation. The position also requires maintaining a clean work area and equipment, seeking continuous improvement, and adhering to all company regulations. Additional duties may be assigned by the team lead or production supervisor.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as Medium or Heavy Truck Mechanic or Heavy Equipment
Experience working with Hydraulic motors, valve and cylinder rebuilding required
Skilled in using power and air tools
Must have own tools, and be comfortable using, typical shop tools to assemble a variety of components
Self-disciplined, highly organized, goal-oriented.
Must possess the ability to multitask with a strong attention to detail
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Must be fluent in English

Nice To Haves

Vocational/Trade School mechanic training or certification preferred.
ability to speak other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

Follow instructions given by the Hydraulic Lead and follow production orders to assemble the Stripe Hog ® Waterblasting System
Read illustrations, diagrams or schematics to determine how to assemble components.
Measure and mark dimensions of parts to ensure a tight fit and a quality product.
Adjust, repair, re-work parts and assemblies to ensure proper operation.
Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
Attention to continuous improvement opportunities.
Follow all company regulations.
Other duties as assigned my team lead and or production supervisor
