About The Position

PIRTEK in Elk Grove Village is seeking to hire a full-time Shop Assistant to make custom hose assemblies, keep the warehouse in great shape, and provide an outstanding customer experience. This position involves making custom hose and tubing assemblies for walk-in customers or field technicians, accurately specifying the correct replacement assembly based on customer-provided samples and specifications, and keeping the shop clean, organized, and welcoming. The role also supports field technicians by providing inventory and restock support. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Experience with basic hand tools
Mechanical aptitude and enjoy fixing things
Good communication skills
Self-motivated
Take pride in your work
Successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check and pass a drug screening.
