Hydraulic Field Service Mechanic
About The Position

If so, then PIRTEK Cartersville may be a great fit for you! PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic hose replacement is currently hiring Field Service Mechanics. Our Field Service Mechanics remove, assemble, & install hydraulic hoses on construction equipment, manufacturing equipment, recycling equipment and basically anything fluid power. Our Field Service Mechanics operate out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center in a purpose built mobile hose workshop/van.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years experience in trade involving mechanical repair
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean Driving Record – no DUI’s in the last 5 years
- Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
- Ability to Commute: Cartersville, GA (Required)
- Ability to Relocate: Cartersville, GA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Responsibilities
- Assess customer needs on hydraulic equipment
- Remove, repair, and/or replace hydraulic hoses
- Visit with active customers to assess needs
- Initiate contact with potential customers to explain our available services
- Work independently
