Requirements

  • Previous experience working with hydraulic and electrical systems in a manufacturing, industrial, heavy equipment, or related environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing hydraulic and electrical components.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively guide and support team members.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support hydraulic and electrical installation, assembly, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
  • Diagnose hydraulic and electrical system issues and determine appropriate repairs or solutions.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic components, wiring, electrical systems, controls, and related equipment.
  • Provide technical direction and hands-on support to team members.
  • Assist with training employees on proper procedures, safety practices, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate daily work priorities to help ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Perform inspections and testing to verify systems are operating properly before completion.
  • Identify potential equipment or system issues and communicate recommendations to appropriate team members or management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, engineering, and other departments as needed.
