About The Position

At Capital Group, we are seeking a Hybrid Vehicle Sales Specialist to partner with our sales teams. This role involves meeting with clients both virtually and in-person to advance sales discussions and serve as a subject matter expert on Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). The position is based in Capital Group’s LA office and requires 60-75% travel. The Hybrid Vehicle Sales Specialist will be responsible for delivering point-of-sale expertise in representing Capital Group/American Funds’ SMA and ETF strategies to financial advisors.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of internal or hybrid wholesaling experience.
  • ETF/SMA experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must hold a SIE, Series 7 & 66.

Nice To Haves

  • CFA, CIMA, CETF, or CFP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Regional Sales Office and Hybrid Sales teams, driving advisor meeting coordination and expanding ETF/SMA adoption.
  • Lead internal and external communication and education initiatives on CG’s tax-efficient vehicles, ensuring sales teams are well-equipped with product knowledge.
  • Represent CG’s tax-efficient business at conferences, firm events, and internal programs in partnership with broader sales teams.
  • Act as the voice of the field, partnering with Product and Marketing teams to deliver insights and support new material development.
