About The Position

Seeking an IT&E HWIL Engineer to support the design, development and implementation of real-time, closed-loop HWIL capabilities. The ideal candidate is an Engineer with experience with HWIL integration in a testing environment.

Requirements

Knowledge in the areas of digital, analog, and electronic components.
Capable of using lab equipment to troubleshoot hardware/software failures in support of HWIL integration and testing.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing test equipment.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in STEM or a related discipline.
Active Secret Clearance.
Must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with multi-disciplined teams.
Experience performing Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis and HWIL design and simulation analysis.
Support preflight system performance assessment and post flight verification analyses.
HWIL real-time, closed-loop simulation experience is desired.
Flight software integration and verification experience is also a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, development and testing of air vehicle SW, FW and HW and the integration of stimulation equipment into the HWIL facility.
Support the integration team in debugging software, hardware, connectors, timing, and designs.
Involved in the integration, test, verification and validation of the system and various subsystems.
Interpret customer needs, work with the team to develop technical solutions, product backlogs, and provide feedback to the team.
Support program meetings, provide project status, and interface with a multi-discipline team.
