About The Position

ConServ Building Services is actively seeking a motivated HVACR General Manager to join our team in Sunrise, FL! ConServ Building Services was founded in 1991, as the service division of BCH Mechanical. We began dispatching HVAC techs in the Tampa Bay, FL area and in just a short time, ConServ’s reputation for customer service and technical expertise began to grow in GA, SC, NC, VA, TN, MS and AL. We are the number one choice for regional clients with multiple accounts, convenience stores, and those who prefer remote monitoring and control.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of Supervisory experience in the Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration Industry
  • EPA Certification
  • Must be able to work independently and without supervision
  • Communication and Customer Service skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Manages and develops the Service/ Office Staff, which includes hiring, terminating and disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling employees, evaluating performance and directing work assignments to ensure effective production/ profit.
  • Evaluates workload and prioritizes works orders with dispatch department.
  • Resolves customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures that material and equipment are ordered in a timely fashion.
  • Generate reports and measure department performance.
  • Assists and support in developing new business opportunities.
  • Evaluates staff to determine training requirements. Assist in hands on training, and scheduling manufacturer training for employees.
  • Ensure that all employees are observing all company safety requirements.
