About The Position

The HVAC Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver is a versatile role responsible for supporting the efficient operations of an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) company. This position involves handling various tasks within the warehouse, including receiving and organizing HVAC equipment and supplies, preparing orders, and ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to customers. The role requires a combination of warehouse duties and safe driving skills.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
Knowledge of local traffic regulations and routes.
Must have experience driving an 18’ box truck and or 24’ stake bed.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) frequently.
Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with HVAC equipment and supplies is a plus.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Receive shipments of HVAC equipment and supplies, checking for accuracy and quality.
Organize and manage inventory, including shelving, labeling, and categorizing items.
Assemble orders based on customer requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform basic maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment as needed, such as cleaning and minor repairs.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Safely load HVAC equipment and supplies onto the delivery vehicle, securing items to prevent damage during transportation.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including professional communication, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues or concerns on-site.
Maintain accurate delivery records, including receipts, delivery confirmations, and any required signatures.
Conduct routine checks of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
