Requirements

Currently possess a two (2) year associates degree in a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology maintenance field OR be within 6 months of obtaining an Associate degree in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology (HVAC) maintenance field OR Possess a one-year technical diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology (HVAC) maintenance field
Two (2) or more years HVAC maintenance experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology maintenance field.
Ability to handle a variety of refrigerants and obtain necessary EPA Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
Reliable transportation to Menomonie, WI (54751), or relocation before starting
Completion of a job-related readiness assessment
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

HVAC in a private, public, government or military environment experience
Experience troubleshooting and repairing process controls and facility support equipment, including PLCS, AC/DC drives and motors, HVAC controls and pneumatic/electric devices
Universal Refrigeration Certifications
Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented work style

Responsibilities

Follow safe work behaviors and look out for hazards
Troubleshoot, repair and service HVAC, utility and process support equipment
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on boilers, steam systems, pumps, refrigeration, controls and piping
Recommend equipment improvements to optimize performance and efficiency
Create a positive, inclusive work environment
Document completed work in an electronic logbook.
