Requirements

  • Currently possess a two (2) year associates degree in a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology maintenance field OR be within 6 months of obtaining an Associate degree in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology (HVAC) maintenance field OR Possess a one-year technical diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology (HVAC) maintenance field
  • Two (2) or more years HVAC maintenance experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology maintenance field.
  • Ability to handle a variety of refrigerants and obtain necessary EPA Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
  • Reliable transportation to Menomonie, WI (54751), or relocation before starting
  • Completion of a job-related readiness assessment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC in a private, public, government or military environment experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing process controls and facility support equipment, including PLCS, AC/DC drives and motors, HVAC controls and pneumatic/electric devices
  • Universal Refrigeration Certifications
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented work style

Responsibilities

  • Follow safe work behaviors and look out for hazards
  • Troubleshoot, repair and service HVAC, utility and process support equipment
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on boilers, steam systems, pumps, refrigeration, controls and piping
  • Recommend equipment improvements to optimize performance and efficiency
  • Create a positive, inclusive work environment
  • Document completed work in an electronic logbook.
  • Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
  • All employees are expected to contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.
