Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of practical working experience on Residential and/or ducted products, air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHU’s or Roof Top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience.
  • Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, system components.
  • Universal EPA refrigerants license.
  • Applicable state or local licensing.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with steam turbines.
  • Experience with screw chillers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing solutions and outcomes during commissioning and aftermarket service.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility efficiency, including identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
  • Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team, responsible for startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and aftermarket services.
  • Work collaboratively with other local market mechanics.
  • Write and communicate problem, cause, and corrective actions to the customer.
  • Provide quotes to customers and participate in JCI’s Service Plus Rewards program.
  • Prioritize safety in all forms.
