About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced commercial equipment, providing services such as commissioning, maintenance, and repair. The Serviceman will act as a trusted advisor to clients, consulting on issues related to comfort, building inefficiency, and other service needs. The company supports professional growth through factory certification via their Service Technical Academy (STA), offering milestone recognition, monetary rewards, and advancement opportunities. Direct access to Factory Technical Support is provided, along with necessary safety equipment, uniforms, tools, a cell phone, technical equipment, and a vehicle.

Requirements

  • Adherence to the company Safety Program.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years Commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the maintenance and repair of three-phase Commercial HVAC equipment, RTU’s, Heat Pumps and Fans.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years of Commercial and or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the maintenance and minor repair of pumps, VFD’s, Air Handling Units, and Rooftop units.
  • OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
  • Recommend solutions to ensure facilities are running efficiently.
  • Identify enhancements for customer systems reliability and sustainability during service.
  • Provide labor and material quotes to support recommendations.
  • Participate in weekend, night, and holiday call-out service on a rotating basis.
  • Assist Journeymen in the repair and service of centrifugal, absorption, screw, and scroll chillers.
