About The Position

Mr. Holland’s Home Services, a Wisconsin staple since 1997, is expanding its team and seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician. They are looking for individuals who can do more than just fix units, but also grow into leadership roles. Requirements

• 2+ years of residential HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of local HVAC codes and safety standards.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC and ventilation systems, using root-cause analysis to ensure long-term solutions.
• Perform comprehensive maintenance, including cleaning air handlers and coils, system calibration, and replacing wear-and-tear components (motors, fans, belts, and filters).
• Translate technical findings into clear repair options for homeowners and provide transparent, upfront pricing.
• Evaluate aging or inefficient equipment and educate customers on system replacements and ongoing maintenance memberships.
• Build professional rapport with homeowners to better understand lifestyle needs and system requirements.
• Maintain consistent communication with Dispatch and Customer Service teams to ensure efficient scheduling and job completion.
• Manage a fully stocked service vehicle and ensure all job sites are kept clean, safe, and organized.
• Complete all invoices, timecards, and service reports accurately and on time via company mobile platforms.
