HVAC Technician
About The Position
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of commercial HVAC equipment. This role involves performing routine preventative maintenance, responding to emergency service requests, and educating customers on proactive repairs, system upgrades, and maintenance agreements. The technician will also be responsible for completing daily paperwork, adhering to all safety policies and procedures, and maintaining proper stock of parts, tools, and safety equipment in their company vehicle. Flexibility to work overtime, on-call, and weekends is required.
Requirements
- Union Local 32 or 66 member or willing to join
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Ability to climb ladders
- Moderate lifting (up to 75lbs)
- Technical aptitude to perform maintenance, service and troubleshoot equipment
- Good electrical and Mechanical Diagnostic skills
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork
