About The Position

As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities through proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance. The role is part of Engineering and Technical Services, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs for equipment and systems. Work is performed under close supervision and guidance, following defined procedures and processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma and 1–2 years of job-related experience; a combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying loads of 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used in buildings, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Perform ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and work-safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine an appropriate course of action for equipment modifications.
• Complete assigned work by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
