About The Position

RHM Real Estate Group is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join their team at Noble General Contractors (Noble GC), RHM's in-house construction and renovation division. This is a full-time, on-site role where the HVAC Technician will assist multiple multi-family apartment properties by installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. The role involves managing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems, and cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems. The position offers an opportunity to utilize HVAC repair expertise while improving the day-to-day functions of the facilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must hold a valid and widely-recognized HVAC certification
  • 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential, multi-family, or commercial environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Condo Paks, Mini Splits, Split Systems, PTAC's and other similar equipment.
  • Knowledge and experience working with boilers is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical HVAC system faults.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols and building codes.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential, multi-family, or commercial environments
  • Knowledge and experience working with boilers is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and prolong system lifespan.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and inconvenience to residents.
  • Install new HVAC systems and components as needed, ensuring compliance with building codes and manufacturer specifications.
  • Respond to maintenance requests related to heating and cooling systems promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of HVAC maintenance and repair activities, including service reports and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with property management and maintenance team members to prioritize tasks and coordinate schedules.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing HVAC maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in HVAC systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
