Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years' experience maintaining scientific or laboratory equipment, preferably in a GMP environment
Demonstrated knowledge of refrigeration systems, particularly ultra-low temperature applications
Experience with building management systems (BMS) and environmental monitoring systems (EMS)
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Understanding of GMP requirements and their application to equipment maintenance
Ability to work in various environmental conditions and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladders, stepladders, and stairs as required during shift.
Ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis during shift.
Ability to walk extensively throughout the facility during shift.
Have the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Technical degree/certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or related field
Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling preferred
Strong documentation skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on ultra-low temperature freezers (-80°C), cold rooms, and HVAC systems
Execute maintenance activities in compliance with GMP regulations and standard operating procedures (SOP)
Respond to emergency calls and equipment alarms to minimize downtime of critical equipment
Document all maintenance activities according to GMP requirements
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues across specialized equipment
Participate in validation activities for new and modified equipment
Support engineering projects related to facility infrastructure improvements
Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and coordinate procurement of supplies
Collaborate with facilities team, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure equipment reliability
Must be able to work with minimal to no supervision
Work overtime or temporarily modify shift schedule as needed
Be part of on-call after hours
