About The Position

Performs maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Installs and repairs heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. This 12-month Staff GA position is open immediately and candidates must be a post-graduate student at BJU to apply.

Requirements

• Post-graduate student at BJU
• Basic knowledge of HVAC and general maintained
• Effective interpersonal skills to properly represent BJU in an ethical and professional manner
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people
• Leadership skills to support the activities of Mechanics working on non-complex, non-critical Building Automation equipment on a job site
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Professional in appearance and presentation
• Effective in oral and written communication
• A learning spirit that is humble and seeks help willingly
• Is purpose driven has a plan for after grad school
• Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines
