About The Position

The HVAC Technician is responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment and HVAC systems as needed. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and comfort of the resort facilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training. If no educational background, at least 1 year.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
• Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
• Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be a certified HVAC technician.

Nice To Haves

• Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
• Experience in dealing with the public is preferred, such as retail cashier, food industry service, guest service with public contacts, etc.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.
• Responds to and repairs guest and coworker service calls, needs, and/or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Keeps up-to-date and accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and refrigerant usage of all equipment.
• Conforms to all EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Drives a vehicle to either on-site or off-site locations to inspect, repair or maintain equipment and/or facilities, as directed.
• Provides assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators, placing flares, and driving needed vehicles.
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
