About The Position

Cedar Park Group is seeking experienced HVAC Technicians, Welders, and Pipefitters for commercial projects. We are looking for reliable trades professionals with strong hands-on experience who can support installation, service, maintenance, and repair work while maintaining a safe and productive job site. Schedule/Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Position Overview These roles support mechanical system installation, repair, and maintenance activities on active construction and service sites. HVAC Technicians will focus on servicing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC systems, while Welders and Pipefitters will support piping installation, fabrication, and system connections. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a crew.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant trade experience
  • HVAC Technicians must have a solid service background with a strong track record of diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems
  • Experience servicing systems such as Trane, Carrier, and York
  • Ability to perform cleaning, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and parts identification/ordering
  • Welders and Pipefitters must have experience with piping installation, system layout, and fabrication
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read basic plans, layouts, or equipment documentation
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship

Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment cleaning
  • Troubleshoot system issues and support parts identification and ordering
  • Install, assemble, and support mechanical piping systems
  • Perform welding and pipefitting tasks according to project requirements
  • Assist with system startups, testing, and basic adjustments
  • Follow project plans, specifications, and safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and project teams
  • Support timely completion of project or service tasks
