About The Position
Total Comfort Group is a premier nationwide provider of HVAC, Electrical, and Project Management solutions, specializing in multi-site retail and commercial properties across the United States. This role involves servicing, diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining commercial HVAC/R systems. The technician will identify system failures, recommend solutions, and perform work efficiently while adhering to industry, safety, and company standards. Maintaining a clean work area, company vehicle, and accurate service documentation are also key responsibilities. The position requires clear communication with customers, dispatch, and team members, as well as the ability to travel as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years commercial HVAC/R experience
- Graduate of an accredited HVAC technical program
- Strong competency with: Commercial HVAC (1–50 tons), Refrigeration systems, Boilers, Electrical/controls
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Valid driver’s license + clean driving record
- Must provide own hand tools, gauges, meters
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Ability to travel
- EPA Certification (Required)
- OHSHA Certification (Required)
Responsibilities
- Service, diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems
- Identify system failures and recommend repair or replacement
- Perform work efficiently and in compliance with industry, safety, and company standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, company vehicle, and service documentation
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members
- Travel as required
