The right HVAC Technician I will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator. This role exists to perform a variety of basic technical tasks related to assisting in the service and repair of all heating, air conditioning, and related culinary equipment located throughout Dollywood Company properties. All of this will be done in a manner consistent with the mission, values and operating philosophies and standards of the Dollywood Company. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to display and live out Lead with Love qualities, strongly rooted in the Dollywood Company culture, by being patient, kind, trusting, unselfish, truthful, forgiving, dedicated and accountable.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Has basic computer skills
  • Working knowledge of basic heating and cooling systems
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy.
  • Must have valid driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance and acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory completion of background screening which includes criminal history and motor vehicle record check

Nice To Haves

  • At least 6 months experience of HVAC experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in repairing mechanical and electrical systems with heating and cooling equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of heating and cooling equipment
  • Monitor and inspect heating and cooling systems to ensure continued proper operation
  • Investigate heating and air conditioning complaints; perform minor repair
  • Install air and water filters on various equipment across all Dollywood Company properties
  • Use the TMA work order system for work assignments and record time and materials for each work assignment
  • Assess HVAC and other equipment drainage problems and performs necessary repairs
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, vacuum pump, test equipment utilized in the trade
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle while maintaining company’s equipment
  • Maintain related records concerning time, labor and materials; maintain log of tasks performed and write reports as required
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work off roofing to clean coils and change HVAC filters
  • Must work independently as well as in a team setting
