Requirements

Vocational/technical training or completion of an apprenticeship.
2+ years of related HVAC sheet metal experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation practices.
Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical documents.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Reliable transportation.
Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
Ability to work independently and help guide apprentices or helpers.
Commitment to safety with knowledge of OSHA standards.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of related HVAC sheet metal experience

Responsibilities

Installing, modifying, and repairing ductwork and sheet metal systems.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specs.
Measuring, laying out, fabricating, and installing duct systems (TDF, snap lock, slide and drive, etc.).
Cutting and shaping sheet metal.
Installing HVAC equipment such as air handling units, VAV boxes, and fan-powered boxes.
Coordinating with other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
Inspecting work to meet industry and company standards and job requirements.
Loading/unloading materials and maintaining a clean, safe job site.
Using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Applying shop math and problem-solving skills on the job.
