Requirements

  • 5+ years of HVAC experience
  • Must work well with others and be a team player
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Capable of reporting job progress to the Superintendent
  • Must have own hand tools
  • Great attitude
  • Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently in a timely manner
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules
  • Be able to work Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week with the flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required

Responsibilities

  • Install sheet metal ductwork, fittings, dampers, and related HVAC components according to blueprints, specifications, and local codes.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and secure sheet metal materials using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and mechanical plans.
  • Install HVAC air distribution systems in commercial, industrial, and residential facilities.
  • Seal, insulate, and test duct systems to ensure proper airflow and energy efficiency.
  • Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to maintain project schedules.
  • Perform field modifications and troubleshoot installation issues as needed.
  • Operate lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
  • Verify material quantities and report shortages or discrepancies.
  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure installations meet project requirements.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials to job sites.
  • Complete daily work reports and communicate project progress to supervisors.
  • Participate in project meetings and training programs as required.
