About The Position
Bonsky Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in helping customers, solving problems, and performing their work correctly. The ideal candidate is a technician that customers request by name, enjoys diagnosing challenging issues, and values excellent customer service alongside technical expertise. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps. The technician will also perform maintenance inspections, educate homeowners on system improvements, document findings, follow company procedures, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to confidently service furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to explain technical issues in a way homeowners understand
- Pride in doing things the right way the first time
- Ability to follow structured service processes and company standards
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
- Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment
- Perform maintenance inspections and identify opportunities to improve system performance

- Document findings and recommendations accurately
