HVAC Service Technician
About The Position
Baker Brothers Plumbing, Air & Electric is seeking top performing HVAC Service Technicians with at least 3 years of experience. The role involves diagnosing all aspects of HVAC systems, providing customers with repair options and pricing, ordering parts for installation, and collecting payment upon completion, while ensuring quality work adheres to all local and national codes. Service Technicians will also serve as mentors to HVAC Installers. Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, diagnosing & troubleshooting, and correcting diverse HVAC system issues.
- Valid Texas drivers license with at least 3 years of driving history.
- EPA certification and TDLR registered with the State of Texas.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations.
- Results driven in a high-energy environment.
- Must be able to follow directions and work independently with a high attention to detail.
- Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes.
- Service knowledge of 16+ seer systems and heat pumps.
Nice To Haves
- Service Titan experience preferred.
- 5 years of driving history preferred.
Responsibilities
- Successfully perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, condensers, and compressors.
- Build client relationships by providing outstanding service through strong communication and customer service skills.
- Educate your clients on their systems and maintenance requirements and provide replacement options as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for clients to improve their home comfort systems through product overview.
- Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs and/or records.
- Complete all tasks in accordance with state and local quality and safety standards.
