HVAC Service Technician

Grille Mechanical Contractors is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join their team. This is a full-time position servicing a mix of residential, light commercial, and commercial refrigeration equipment. Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of residential and light commercial HVAC service experience
- Commercial refrigeration experience, including servicing walk-in coolers and freezers
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience servicing boilers, furnaces, condensers, mini-splits, and related HVAC equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Commitment to quality workmanship and doing the job right
- Ability to perform physical HVAC service work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
- Ability to safely lift 30+ lbs.
- Commitment to following company safety policies and procedures
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration system problems
- Service, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling equipment
- Service and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers and freezers
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Service boilers, furnaces, condensers, heat pumps, mini-split systems, ductwork, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, airflow, and control issues
- Complete emergency repairs safely and efficiently
- Clearly explain system issues and recommended repairs to customers
- Provide professional and respectful customer service on every call
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
- Keep your company-provided service vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Follow company safety procedures and applicable codes
