About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced HVAC Technicians for projects located in or around Eugene, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of residential HVAC service experience
Residential retrofit and service experience
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Honest, dependable, and professional
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs.
Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and on rooftops
Ability to obtain and maintain required industry certifications
Must be able to successfully complete required drug screening
Must be able to successfully complete background and DMV/driving record checks

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential HVAC systems
Complete residential service calls, scheduled maintenance, and inspections
Troubleshoot electrical circuits, controls, and HVAC components
Repair or replace defective equipment, components, and wiring
Install and adjust thermostats and HVAC controls
Service heat pumps, air conditioners, gas and electric furnaces, ductless mini-splits, boilers, and water heaters
Test refrigerant systems and piping for leaks
Use multimeters, refrigerant gauges, vacuum pumps, recovery machines, and standard HVAC hand tools
Explain repairs, recommendations, and available options to customers
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
