About The Position

This is a 90-day program designed to teach interns the field of commercial HVAC careers. You will be evaluated on a 30/60/90 day basis to assess your knowledge and job performance. After the 90-days the interns who meet performance expectations will be hired as an HVAC Technician Class I. This role is based out of the LaGrange, GA office and serves the surrounding area. Intern Service Technician duties include changing filters, cleaning coils, basic maintenance, checking and cleaning drains, hooking up gauges to the system, and providing excellent customer service. The program aims to install, service, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, and related environmental-control systems, utilizing knowledge of heating and refrigeration theory, and pipefitting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computer and tablets.
• Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong adaptability skills.

Nice To Haves

• Trade/Technical School certification or degree preferred.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification preferred
