About The Position
Jennings Mechanical is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician to serve as a leader in our service department. This individual will handle complex service calls, mentor junior technicians, and help maintain Jennings Mechanical’s reputation for quality workmanship and dependable service.
Requirements
- 7+ years of HVAC service experience, including commercial systems
- EPA Section 608 Certification required
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls, refrigerants, and system design
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Factory training preferred (willing to provide as needed)
Responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair for complex HVAC systems to include: DX systems, chilled water systems, hot water systems, hydronic components, pumps, VFDs, and more
- Perform advanced maintenance and control system analysis
- Lead a team of junior service technicians- training, mentoring, and overseeing junior service technicians in their day to day responsibilities
- Provide accurate job estimates and communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards
- Assist with service scheduling and technical support as needed
