About The Position
Boston Standard is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and solving complex HVAC issues. This role is for a technician who can diagnose problems, calm upset customers, and ensure systems are running correctly on the first attempt. The company values expertise and rewards performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Proven commitment to customer satisfaction
- Experience handling customer escalations with professionalism
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Personal HVAC hand tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting the team
Nice To Haves
- EPA Universal Certification
- ServiceTitan experience
- Experience with high-efficiency equipment, heat pumps, boilers, and mini-splits
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot complex issues on furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment
- Deliver exceptional customer service and educate homeowners on repair and replacement options
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and confidently
- Complete service documentation accurately in ServiceTitan
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and personal inventory
- Follow all company safety standards and best practices
