About The Position
Logan Services, serving the Dayton area since 1969 and expanded to Columbus, Cincinnati, and Northern Kentucky, is seeking an HVAC Service Tech Apprentice. This apprenticeship is Trane accredited and offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills, work alongside knowledgeable technicians, and build a career in HVAC service. Responsibilities
- Assist experienced service technicians with inspections, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems
- Learn to identify system components, tools, and basic troubleshooting techniques under supervision
- Help transport and organize tools, equipment, and materials at job sites
- Follow all safety procedures, including handling refrigerants, electrical components, and heavy equipment
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, service vehicles, and tools
- Observe and learn customer service best practices, including clear communication and professionalism on-site
- Complete documentation of work performed and assist in recording materials used
