This apprenticeship, now Trane accredited, is an opportunity for individuals motivated to develop valuable skills, work alongside knowledgeable technicians, and build a career in HVAC service. Logan Services has proudly served the Dayton area since 1969, expanding into Columbus, Cincinnati, and Northern Kentucky. As an HVAC Service Technician Apprentice, you will support experienced technicians while learning to diagnose, maintain, and repair heating and cooling systems, with the goal of building skills and knowledge for a long-term career in HVAC service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced service technicians with inspections, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems
  • Learn to identify system components, tools, and basic troubleshooting techniques under supervision
  • Help transport and organize tools, equipment, and materials at job sites
  • Follow all safety procedures, including handling refrigerants, electrical components, and heavy equipment
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, service vehicles, and tools
  • Observe and learn customer service best practices, including clear communication and professionalism on-site
  • Complete documentation of work performed and assist in recording materials used
