About The Position

The HVAC Service Sales - Account Manager role focuses on promoting company services, developing new business, and building strong client relationships. This position involves strategic outreach, client engagement, and ensuring customer loyalty. The role requires preparing accurate cost projections, developing written proposals, and managing project timelines and budgets. Additionally, the Account Manager is responsible for ensuring quality and performance, managing invoicing and cash flow, and handling warranty administration. A key aspect of the role is understanding and adhering to contractual scope and project documents, enforcing safety and quality standards, and acting as a company ambassador.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of experience in HVAC or services-related sales
  • 5 years of HVAC or Plumbing experience/vocational training
  • Must have basic PC experience in Windows environments, working knowledge of Word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software

  • Timely invoicing and cash flow management require issuing invoices promptly and following up to ensure on-time payments
  • Warranty administration includes managing post-project issues and ensuring prompt, effective resolution of warranty claims
  • Review and understand contractual scope and project documents (drawings, submittals, equipment operations, and maintenance manuals)
  • Ensure quality, performance, and adherence to project requirements, enforcing safety and quality standards
  • Act as a company ambassador by marketing and promoting consistent and excellent project implementation
  • Understand, practice, and promote all company values and operational procedures
