Requirements

• Participate in our employer sponsored DOL HVAC Apprenticeship
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the residential and or commercial HVAC industry.
• Ability to work effectively with all personality types.
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
• Self-directed and can work independently
• Valid driver’s license.
• Troubleshoot and adjust system controls to settings recommended by manufacturer
• Knowledge and use of various meters, test equipment, and torches
• Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
• Lockout tagout
• EPA 608 certification

Nice To Haves

• CSD 1 certification
• Measure, cut, and thread pipe
• Blueprint/schematics reading

Responsibilities

• Aid the Foreman on the completion of commercial and industrial projects
• Take continuous direction from HVAC Service Technician
• Handle the loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment
• Ensure attention to detail and follow safety standards
• Fuel and wash department vehicles
• Gain essential skills to progress within the HVAC department.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Ensure the work vehicle is always well-stocked.
