We are seeking an HVAC Sales Consultant who will expand our presence, open new accounts, and strengthen partnerships while delivering the relationship-focused experience that defines The Tropic Way. What You Will Do You will own your territory and drive growth through proactive market development and genuine relationship building.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of proven B2B sales success with measurable results
  • Experience selling to contractors, construction trades, or technical buyers
  • A strong record of new business development and territory growth
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Knowledge of your local market and contractor landscape
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC industry experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identifying, prospecting, and converting new HVAC contractor accounts
  • Spending significant time in the field, visiting contractors, job sites, and resource centers
  • Managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution development, proposals, closing, and follow-up
  • Building trust with contractor decision-makers and key influencers
  • Strengthening relationships with existing customers and increasing their business with Tropic Supply
  • Developing strong product knowledge to prescribe value-driven solutions
  • Maintaining accurate CRM activity to prioritize high-value opportunities
  • Collaborating with Resource Center Leaders to ensure exceptional service and support
