About The Position
New Jersey's premier HVAC-Plumbing-Electrical company is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join their growing team. This position reports to the Service Manager. The ideal candidate must be flexible with overtime and weekend customer needs (voluntary). Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, but a set full-time, flexible schedule may be considered. As a family-owned business, the company focuses on serving the comfort and safety of the community by providing personalized residential and commercial solutions for heating, air conditioning, and indoor air quality applications. Customer comfort is a key responsibility, and customers are at the center of everything Air Group, LLC does.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC service and maintenance experience.
- Completion of HVAC trade school program.
- EPA 608 certification.
- Ability to work independently on gas furnaces, hydronic boilers and A/C systems - including mini-splits.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow manufacturer and Air Group, LLC installation guides.
- Professional appearance.
- Excellent communication skills - the ability to speak with customers professionally and respectfully.
- Demonstrated ability to produce quality and consistent workmanship to avoid callbacks.
- Ability to use technology tools to record and view job information/history.
- Safety first mindset and the ability to keep an organized, clean workspace.
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
- US Citizen or Green card holder (no sponsorship is available now or in the future).
