About The Position

Pine Tree Food Equipment is looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team. This role involves providing quality commercial cooking equipment repair, including gas, steam, refrigeration, and electric appliance service and installation. The company also offers commercial refrigeration service, installation, parts, and preventive maintenance.

Requirements

• Commercial HVAC/R and refrigeration experience
• EPA Type II certification minimum
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Valid driver's license and driving record that aligns with safety standards
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Flexibility for on-call shifts and overtime when needed
• Strong organizational skills and work ethic
• Completion of a successful background check and drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment
• Providing service and installation for commercial cooking equipment (gas, steam, refrigeration, electric)
• Performing commercial refrigeration service, installation, parts, and preventive maintenance
• Working independently in the field
• Being available for on-call shifts and overtime when needed
