About The Position

K&D Factory Service, a company with a long history dating back to 1945, specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment. They serve various institutions including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes across Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland. The company is looking for experienced Technicians with at least 2 years of industry experience to join their team. Technicians will be responsible for performing service calls, diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role involves an on-call schedule, requiring flexibility and potential overtime. Technicians will operate company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment, and are expected to accurately report all service activities using a tablet.

Requirements

2+ years of experience servicing HVAC/R systems or in a related industry
EPA Level 2 minimum
Strong Knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems is encouraged
Driving record must align with our safety standards
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
Must be 18 years of age
Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus!

Responsibilities

Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems on commercial equipment
Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call
Provide an excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members
Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay)
Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines
