About The Position

K&D Factory Service, a company with a long history in Pennsylvania since 1945, specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment for various institutions like restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. They are looking for experienced HVAC/R Service Technicians with at least 2 years of industry experience to join their team across multiple locations in Pennsylvania. The role involves performing service calls, diagnosing and repairing equipment, maintaining accurate service reports, and ensuring excellent customer service. Technicians will operate company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment, and must be available for an on-call schedule, which includes overtime pay.

Requirements

2+ years of experience servicing HVAC/R systems or in a related industry
EPA Level 2 minimum
Strong Knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems is encouraged
Driving record must align with our safety standards
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
Must be 18 years of age
Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus!

Responsibilities

Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems on commercial equipment
Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call
Provide an excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members
Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines
Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay)
