Requirements

  • EPA 608 Certification (required)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical, refrigeration, airflow, controls)
  • Comfort working independently in the field
  • Willingness to be part of an on-call rotation
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • 5+ years commercial/industrial HVAC/R experience
  • Strong experience with complex systems (chillers, boilers, low temp refrigeration, etc.)
  • Proven ability to diagnose and solve problems without trial-and-error

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC/R systems
  • Working on a range of equipment (RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, refrigeration, etc.)
  • Performing preventative maintenance and system inspections
  • Handling installs, startups, and system commissioning
  • Communicating clearly with customers on issues, repairs, and recommendations
  • Documenting work accurately (notes, photos, parts, quotes)
  • Participating in an on-call rotation
  • Representing the company professionally on every job
  • Handle complex diagnostics independently
  • Work on large/critical systems in industrial environments
  • Mentor and support less experienced technicians
