About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a HVAC/R Coordinator you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and air handling equipment. You will also identify maintenance risks on equipment, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC/R systems, and clean, adjust, and repair systems, and service the equipment. Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently is also a key part of this role. You will be responsible for air quality systems from installation to end-of-life by performing preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.
  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of experience as a HVAC/R technician in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Possess or will possess prior to starting, a technical degree/diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in Robotics, Automation Technology, Industrial Robotics & Automation, Robotics/Automated Systems Technician, or other multi-craft technology program.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and air handling equipment.

  • Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and servicing the equipment.
  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

  • Responsible for air quality systems from installation to end-of-life by performing preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
